Amanda's Legacy Foundation is turning family tragedy into love through:
random acts of kindness,
support of animal rights groups and
support of the arts through education and awareness.
Support of the Arts
Our foundation efforts in supporting our Art community is in its infancy but we have made great strides by beginning with the youth leading with their creativity. We have scholarship programs in place already at Clear Brook High School and San Jacinto College South. These schools were Amanda's alma maters and are the inaugural recipients of scholarships for art students and art majors at their respective schools. THIS IS ONLY THE BEGINNING!!!
Animal Rights Efforts
In partnership with local animal rights groups like the Houston Humane Society and Who Rescued Who we are able to support their work with adoption and care for animals that have been neglected, abandoned or abused. We hope to assist through direct financial assistance and volunteerism so that these animals can find their forever homes filled with love and a bright future.
Random Acts of Kindness
Through our daughter's foundation we have found that some of the most impactful moments in life are the smallest. Simply smiling at someone, opening a door, paying for someone's coffee or meal at a drive thru can make someone's day. We never know what issues someone might be dealing with at that particular moment so you can make all the difference in the world with these random acts of kindness. Our plans include utilizing social media platforms to promote more kindness and understanding in the world through your donations and support.
